This necklace designed by the architect Tobia Scarpa for the Milanese silversmith San Lorenzo refers to the archetypes of Renaissance jewelry as it has come down to us in pictorial iconography.
A fine silver wire - rhodium plated to obviate difficult maintenance - forms circular loops in which small pearls of silver are imprisoned.
